Agent Biography:
After a successful 8 year NFL career with the Green Bay Packers (1989-94) and the New York Jets (1995-96) I wanted to be close to professional sports again. SMWW gave me that opportunity with the highest quality agent training course in the world.
Having experienced the good and the bad of the athlete/agent relationship, I am convinced that the ethical and team concept that is taught by Dr. Lynn Lashbrook is the future of professional sports representation.
If I had know then what I know now my decision making process during my career would have been more fulfilling.
I now work with Sports Management Worldwide assisting them with their young athletes in transition to the professional level. I continue to learn about contract negotiations and product endorsements from Dr. Lashbrook.
I want to relate my experiences with young athletes trying to become professionals, if they can learn anything from me about the crazy business of pro-sports; my time has been well spent.
I work in the home office in Portland, Oregon.

"The agent business is one that is in need of transformation.
SMWW entered the industry for this reason, to bring both
integrity & positive direction to athletes. We take pride in
helping athletes in many areas of their lives off the court in
addition to being a catalyst to their career."
"As an agent, my goal is to allow athletes to focus their
attention solely on improving their game and excelling at the next level while myself and SMWW do the rest. At the same time, I believe that the athlete should have direct involvement in every important decision that must be made. SMWW works hard to insure our athletes are serviced professionally and are setup for the future."
"An athlete should have a great relationship with their agent and feel confident that their agent will stand behind them through any situation in their life. It is the responsibility of the agent to assist athletes in more ways than just signing contracts. For an agent, there is no better feeling than seeing your athlete succeed both in life and in sport."
Bill has a degree in Public Relations from the University of Oregon.
